We hope you are as excited as we are to create this legacy for the Class of ‘73. It was our privilege and pleasure to present an LHS Class of '73 check for $1000 during the Ledyard High School Awards Night on Tuesday June, 6, 2023. Wouldn't it be great if we can someday give more?

 

 CURRENT GOFUNDME FUNDRAISING EFFORTS

Our fundraising goal for June 6, 2023 was to reach $5000 so we would have five years worth of giving set aside. Our larger goal is to reach $25,000 to create a perpetual fund that would yield the yearly award. We created a Gofundme page and we have been overcome by the generosity of giving, including two $1000 matching gifts from an anonymous donor. Having already reached $11,951 as of 11-12-2023, we are nearly half way to reaching our goal.

 

SILENT AUCTION

As part of our Reunion festivities, we had a Silent Auction to further support the scholarship fund.  Several classmates donated items and hand made some gorgeous items.  Our Silent Auction yielded a whopping $1876!!!

If you have any fundraising ideas that you would like to organize or know of an event where we could have a booth, please let us know.  Or even if you have an idea FOR a booth that we could utilize when an occasion arises, please let us know.
